We work with solid, semi-transparent and clear finishes depending on the look you want and the exposure of the surface. Every project starts with the right prep: sanding, cleaning and brightening so the stain absorbs evenly and reads true to color.
For exterior stains we use long-life sealers formulated for the North Georgia climate — UV, moisture and freeze/thaw all wear on stain faster than paint, so material selection matters as much as application.

- Can you change my stain color?
Yes — going darker is straightforward. Going lighter usually requires stripping or heavy sanding first.
- How often should I re-stain?
Decks and log homes generally need attention every 3–5 years depending on exposure. We'll tell you honestly what's needed.
- Do you strip old stain?
Yes, when it's needed. We use chemical strippers, sanding or a combination depending on the substrate.
